Runggiyan's first ever Awareness Month takes place this July, starting with the launching of this website!

Runggiyan marks the start of it's Awareness Month on July 3, 2004. This website, was launched at an event held at CyberWorld internet cafe in Tacloban City. Participants included our members and beneficiaries, the local media and Evis Net who have kindly donated us internet space.

The Foundation is proud to have its own website and hopes that it will increase awareness of the organization and it's work, help to raise funds and volunteers, and also provide vital information to women and children in need.

Other Awareness Month activities that will take place in July include the San Juancio Bridge Walkathon. On 31 July 2004 over 500 participants will walk over the 2.2km bridge in a showing of solidarity of the people of Leyte and Samar in their concern for disadvantaged women and children in the region. To take part in this fun and unique opportunity please contact us for an information pack.
