SAMELCO II Service Connection Pocess
Every Samareño household deserves to enjoy the benefits of rural electrification. SAMELCO II, as a community-responsive electric distribution utility in Samar Province, plays a significant role in the realization of this endeavor. From urban communities to seemingly unreachable barangays, SAMELCO II renders affordable and quality electric service to every Samareno family, guided with government regulations, safety measures and organizational policies.
To avail of SAMELCO II’s electrification services, the following steps are hereby advised to be undertaken by an interested applicant:
- Proceed to any SAMELCO II office and look for the Consumer Welfare Desk Officer (Main Office-Paranas) or the Branch Manager (Service Centers – Catbalogan and Basey) to obtain the application forms. It is advised to visit our office in time with the conduct of the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) so as to become fully aware on SAMELCO II policies, rights and obligations of a Member-Consumer, and other relevant information. In this manner, the applicant could get the application forms and at the same time, be able to acquire a PMES Certificate of Attendance, an essential document that should be attached to the application papers;
The PMES schedule is shown below:
- Every Monday at the Main Office in Paranas, Samar;
- Every Third and Last Thursday of the month at Catbalogan Service Center;
- Every Third Wednesday at Basey Service Center.
- With the application forms at hand, the applicant is advised to get the services of a SAMELCO II Accredited Electrician in order to carry out the housewiring work and facilitate the completion of required documents;
- When housewiring work is done and application papers ready, the applicant should pay at any
