From being the second placer for the 2009 cheer dance competition, the juniors proved that it would be a different story this year as they were finally declared first place in the cheer dance competition for this year’s Sports Fest.
The Freshmen spikers emerged victorious in the Sports Fest ‘10 volleyball competition held on September 17 at the Leyte Normal University-Integrated Laboratory School (LNU-ILS) grounds.
Another kickoff activity pepped up not only the students but also the LNU faculty and personnel as the annual LNUlympics took place on the last day of the Sports Festival carrying the theme “Responsive, Accessible, Courteous and Effective Public Service through Team Building Activities”, at the LNU Library grounds.
Despite the evident age gap, students were once again surprised by the spirit and eagerness of the Freshmen hoopers to raise their banners up high and disregard age as they headed 26 points over the Sophomores in the basketball championship battle at the LNU dormitory last September 17.
