comprising one-fourth (1/4)
of the members of the fully-constituted
Council, 18 special non-voting
members, the Presidential
Assistant for Eastern Visayas
and the RDC Secretary.

The Four Sectoral Committee
Chairs automatically become
members of the Executive

The Affiliate Committees
The various committees and
councils organized to carry
out national and agency
programs are under the umbrella
of the RDC. Their role is
to assist the RDC coordinate,
monitor and evaluate their
respective soecific concerns.
The Technical Staff
and Secretariatof the Council
The Regional Office of the
NEDA serves as the principal
technical staff and secretariat
of the Council and the Executive
and Advisory Committees.
In addition, the Council
and the Executive and Advisory
Committees may request the
regional offices of the
various agencies of the
national government to provide
technical support as may
be required for the effective
discharge of the functions
of the Council and its Committees.
The NEDA Regional Director
serves as the Vice-Chair
of the Council proper and
the Executive and Advisory
Committees. As head of the
RDC Secretariat, the NEDA
Regional Director manages
the technical, administrative
and financial operations
of the Council The NEDA
Assistant Regional Director
serves as the Secretary
of the Council proper and
the Executive and Advisory
Committees. The Chiefs of
the NEDA Technical Divisions
serv as Coordinators and
Secretariat of their respective
Sectoral Committees. |
