Leyte SP to hold session in
Tabango this Friday

TACLOBAN CITY – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Leyte is set to hold its second out-of-town regular session in Tabango, Leyte this coming Friday.

Board Member Rowel Batan of the third district of Leyte told Leyte Samar Daily Express that they did not hold their regular session yesterday at the SP session hall because they are to hold their session in Tabango this Friday in response to the invitation of Tabango Mayor Bernard Remandaban.

Board Member Batan said SP through presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Vice Governor Mimiette Bagulaya, approved the invitation of Mayor Remandaban.

“An mga miembro han Sanggguniang Panlalawigan pinaagi kan Vice Governor Mimiette Bagulaya nag-aaprove nga didto nala namon himo-on an amon regular session ha Taba-ngo, Leyte mahitu-ngod hini han invitation ha amon ni Mayor Remandaban,” Batan said.

He said this would be the second time that the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Leyte will hold an out-of-town regular session. The first was last September 28 in Baybay, Leyte.

“Ini nga amon out-of-town sesson in ginbubuhat namon ini para naman mahibaro an mga miembro han Sangguniang Bayan han tagsa-tagsa nga mga burohaton labi na gud paghimo hin mga ordinansa ngan resolosyon dida hit ira tagsa-tagsa nga mga bungto,” Batan added.

Batan also said that in their regular session in Tabango, they have invited barangay officials and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan of five municipalities in the third district to attend their regular session.

He said the SP members are to witness the holding of “WOW Tabango,” one of the tourism projects of Mayor Remandaban.

Batan said that among their guests during their eregular session are Leyte Governor Jericho “Icot” Petilla and some department heads of the provincial government.
