TACLOBAN CITY – On Friday this week (March 23), people in the First and Second Districts of Leyte will have the chance to see in person showbiz spouses Richard “Goma” Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez for their first one-day campaign in Leyte.
In his visit to Mayor Bejo Romualdez this week, Manoling Torres, father of commercial model Lucy Torres-Gomez, said that the schedule is fixed and he confirmed the arrival of his daughter and son-in-law Goma on Friday morning at the DZR Airport.
Ms. Bernadita Valenzuela, consultant for media affairs, told Leyte Samar Daily Express that movie actor Richard Gomez will be making rounds in the towns of the 1 st districts of Leyte in his bid for a senatorial seat in the coming May pools.
Upon Goma’s arrival at 6:25 on Friday morning, together with Lucy they will have a market and bus terminal hopping, then proceed to DYDW and DYVL for interviews, the celebrity couple will pay a courtesy call to Mayor Romualdez whom he (Goma) will endorse during his sorties as the next Governor of Leyte.
At 10-12 noon, the Goma and Lucy duo will visit Leyte Normal University (LNU), Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), Asian Foundation College (ADFC), all in Tacloban, and Saint Paul’s Business School (SPBS) in Palo, Leyte.
From 1:00-5:00 in the afternoon, senatorial aspirant Goma with his supporters would be in the towns of Palo, Tanauan, Burauen, Tolosa, Dulag, Abuyog and back to Tacloban where he would have a walkabout around the main thoroughfares of the City.
Goma is known to be an all-around sports personality, and a Big Bike rider himself, will join the Big Motorcycle Conference 7:00 pm at the Tacloban City Convention Center at Sagkahan here. |
