Governor Evardone leads inauguration of 3 classrooms

BORONGAN, Eastern Samar – Governor Ben P. Evardone, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Enerio Sabulao and Generoso Yu together with municipal officials and 33 Punong Barangays of Llorente National High School (LNHS). This building will cater students coming from Brgy. Magtino, Burak, Can-ato, Can-duros, Makaanga, Cantum-og, Waso and Barobo.

In his message, Mayor Antonio Cardona express his appreciation to Plan Philippines, and Gyosie Seidou of Japan for providing funds for the project.

He also thanked the provincial government fro allocating the counterpart fund.

Barangay Barobo is located nine kilometers away from the Poblacion of Llorente and the realization of the project would eventually encourage more students in this area to avail secondary education, Evardone emphasized in his speech.

Moreover, Evardone, who is also the chairman of the provincial school board, mentioned that the PSB has appropriated funds out of the SEF to support teachers holding extension classes in areas where the services of additional teachers are most needed.
