DEMOGRAPHICS.
As per 1995 census, the municipality has a total population
of 48,638 of which around 51% are male while some
49% are female. The barangay with the highest growth
rate is Canyopay at 13.4%, while the lowest is Hebacong
at - 4.5%. Both are interior barangays. For Poblacion
barangays, Barangay A established the highest growth
rate at 9.9 while the lowest is by Brgy. E at - 1.
9%.
