The Municipality of Borongan is very grateful for having been given this opportunity to have presence in and access to the Internet.

This is a chance to promote friendship and closer ties for the purpose of making the world a better place to live in. This is an opportunity to share each other's positive values and ideals and bridge the gaps that are often caused by torrents of racial, lingual, political, ideological and economic differences. Hopefully, through the Internet, our common goal for a peaceful, progressive and prosperous Mother Earth would be given greater attention rather than those other intentions that cause division and misunderstanding.

As we promote our municipality through the program of the Department of Tourism of giving each region a two-week period of highlighting the region's best, we wish to offer our friendship and hospitality to all the peoples of the world. Come, visit us, and share with us the best of our people, our place and our culture! Truly, we are one with our region in promoting the "Best of Eastern Visays!"
